Welcome to the rise of the Dog Moon,
Welcome all curious readers and those seeking to rest themselves upon a story. We are Dog Moon Studios LLC. We are a Chicago-Land based company and 50% veteran owned (Billy).
We would like to introduce our new graphic novel, 'Devilkin', written and illustrated by the founders of Dog Moon, Andrew Mitchell (artist) and myself Billy Bowman (writer). 100% of 'Devilkin' from the story, writing, lettering, inking, coloring and more has been painstakingly crafted.
In 'Devilkin' you will be taken to the planet of Loha, a world beginning its final days of life. You will follow a colorful cast of original characters as they navigate their dying home, and you will learn their roles in the apocalypse of Loha. Inspired by the vast plethora of mythologies, religions, legends and lore from across the real world and throughout history; you can think of 'Devilkin' as a dark, Grimm fairytale about the end of the world.
We hope that you join us as we build our company, share our stories, art and more.

We would like to take a moment and thank our family and friends who believed in us especially when we didn't. It's been a long hard road to get here. Special thanks to our buddy Steve. We couldn't have done it with out your help.

Co-Creator and writer for 'DEVILKIN' and co-founder of Dog Moon Studios.  You won't find me or Andrew (Co-Owner/Artist) on any personal social media accounts.  We are what you could call the last of the analog people. Never felt the need to partake in social media given our introverted nature. Yet, as we published 'DEVILKIN' and began the difficult process of advertising, we quickly learned we would have to give our creation a social media presence, even if we personally prefer to abstain. So begins our great odyssey as two 42-year-old men attempting to navigate the turbulent and confusing seas of social media. We are sure to make mistakes, we are probably going to show our age often, and we are still going to stubbornly hold to our old school ways, even as we embrace change. I invite you curious readers to follow us as we document our journey, stumbles and all.  

What he said....  Just kidding. This has been my dream since I was a kid. Starting Dog Moon with my best friend of 25+ years is an honor and I am more than grateful for his friendship for so long. We have crafted this for a long time, far too long. But that's how life goes sometimes. As the artist and co-creator for Devilkin, I've spent my whole life drawing and creating. I can now finally show the fruits of my labor. Seeing this become reality is still surreal to me. I still don't believe we finally built all this, but here we are. Please join us in our journey as we bring you stories from Dog Moon.
